Wow, I'm really getting tired of this cold weather, -32 below again this morning with a "feels like -42" this is near the end of February, sure hope March brings us some much warmer temps. Well, enough for the down side. On a brighter side, we are up and able to be moving around with the help of "Aleve" so am thankful for that, life could be so much worse…
Got the best news we've had in a long while, night before last. My sister, Jodi called, she is going to be Grandma again, Alison is pregnant and expecting twins… AWESOME NEWS, for sure… She's not due till October, so has quite awhile to go, we need to pray all goes well, that she has a smooth & easy pregnancy, and is blessed with a healthy set of twins in the end… Sure would be nice and an extra little bonus, Lord, if you could give them at least one girl…. Might as well ask for plenty while we are asking, He can no more than say no.. After all He already knows how this will work out, and He knows what he is doing, for sure….
Also I listened to a pretty good hockey game last night, Roseau Rams & Moorhead Spuds, Roseau won 7 to 4. Now Roseau will go to the State Tournaments in St. Paul, next week. Makes for lots of excited people, and something for them all to look forward to, plus it will take this cold weather off their minds, for a bit… A winter break - the town will be a ghost town next week…
Yesterday I crocheted a skirt & top, outfit for American Girl doll and last night I worked on making up some crochet patterns for some "Family" name sign doilies, so hope to get working on them later today. I need to make up some for Shelly, Melanie, and maybe Alison and Ashley. See how it goes, they are made out of crochet thread and that is getting harder for me to work with all the time, the old eyes aren't like they used to be and need to work without my glasses, so will see how it goes… Other then that I've been letting one dog or the other, in or out and keeping wood in the stove… Also been enjoying watching the deer at the feeder, never tire of that. Watched a big old boy come in during the night last night, he came walking right down the driveway and up to the feeder, he seemed to mean business, ate and was gone, almost like a ghost. Guess I wouldn't waste any time either, in this cold weather. Not quite so windy today anyways, that helps. Hope it warms up tomorrow a bit, so I can go in to visit with Adeline a bit. Well, I best get with it, I want to make a batch of cookies before I run entirely out of gas for the day… Until next time, keep a light heart and a smile on your face, The Lord is watching over you and loves us, everyone...
