Wow,
February has passed me by, so much going on, I feel I'm just hangin on some days, what a ride... Had to post a picture of my gift to myself, I bought an American Girl doll on ebay, so have been having fun making clothes for her. I made her a Valentine dress and she looks so nice in front of my holiday tree. Next project is to make her a St. Paddy's Day outfit, and get the tree trimmed in green. Need to get with that plan asap... Shelly and Darby have had a busy month, they have sold their place and bought another one, now they are much closer to us, can you tell, I'm smiling and very happy about that. They have moved from a very small house to a very large one, and now they also have numerous other buildings and 38 acres of hunting land. They closed on both places on Mar. 1st and started moving that evening. Tonight they had the family out for supper, we celebrated the move along with 3 birthdays. Lots of fun, can't imagine what a change their lives has made since last week at this time. They now have such a beautiful home, I'm so happy for them. They have most everything unpacked and looks pretty much like they are at "HOME". We celebrated granddaughter, Kayla's 17th b-day which was on March 1st. Step granddaughter-t0-be, Mikenna's 14th b-day today and our son, Shane's 39th b-day was on March 3rd. Uffda, but that makes me feel old, to think it has been 39 yrs since the day I became a mother. What a day that was. Makes me think about, just how precious every moment is, time goes by so fast, we really need to treasure every second and make the most of each day... Adeline is still staying with us, we are taking things one day at a time as far as making any decisions as to what kind of plans she will be making next. She is still quite weak, was to the Dr. on Thursday, he told her she is no longer able to be by herself. She is not very happy with the dr. so am just giving her some time to let her think things through, she has some decisions to make, and not easy for someone her age. I do treasure the time we have been able to spend together, so much fun to hear her stories of days gone by. I scanned in all her pictures, and put them on a slideshow, so she can watch them on the big screen tv. She has so enjoyed that, before she was not able to see well enough the pictures to tell who a lot of the people were. But on the big screen, she is able to tell who everyone is, and also tell stories to go with many of the pictures. She has a beautiful smile, and I so treasure these times with her. We still have lots of snow on the ground, but have hopes of spring being just around the corner. Can't wait to be able to go outside and spend time in the yard.
