Our nest in the woods...

This is our humble little nest in the woods that we call "HOME". So thankful for our wonderful kids, friends and neighbors for their help. It was quite an undertaking, but we made it through and our marriage is still intact. Brrrr it is quite cold out there this weekend, So makes for a pretty quiet time in the woods. Not much company comes out here this time of year, and most of our neighbors are battling the flu bug, and we don't want to catch that. That means there will be no card games tonight. so Wayne is watching tv in the screen porch, and think we are going to play a few games of bowling on the wii. Then maybe curl up on the couch and stick my nose in a book for awhile. Sounds like a plan to me. We are planning to go to church in the morning at the Pinegrove church, which is only about 8-9 miles from here. We are members at the Rose church which is about 34 miles from here, so are thinking it would make more sense to not have to travel so far in the cold weather. And have been wanting to check it out, I've been to a few different women's things there, so am looking forward to tomorrow morning. Love when my husband will go with me to church, makes it so much better than when I need to go alone. Oh, one more thing, this morning Wayne was working out in his shop on the brakes on the blazer, he had me come out there to pump the brakes so he could set them, It was so cold outside, but to my surprise he had it 86 degrees in the shop. Told him we didn't need to think about going south for the winter, when he was lucky enough to have it that warm in the shop. Just checked and it is -15 below zero right now.
